Much of the nose shape is determined by cartilage placement. Some patients are unhappy with the shape of their nose. For some, they were born with a shape they do not like, others had a rhinoplasty done but did have the exact outcome they had hoped for and for others, an injury occurred causing a misshape of the nose. Botox is commonly used to help lift the tip of the nose, decrease nasal flaring and thereby slim the nose. Botox can also be used on the sides of the nose on the “bunny lines” to decrease these lines and also slim the sides on the upper area of the nose. This procedure can last for about 3-5 months.

Using a filler to “reshape” the contours of the nose can provide some obvious and appreciated improvements, whether in the nose body, tip or bridge of the nose. We use Juvérderm and Restylane Silk for reshaping the nose as we find they are the best options for this area. We simply apply ice to the area to help numb it because the procedure is virtually painless. The product will last about one year.
